As a basis for our SteadySize Men's Discus, we use the TPD model by Polanik. This discus stands out with particularly robust side plates made from glass-fiber reinforced plastic. The discus does not require center plates and has a rigid galvanized steel rim.

Rim weights with SteadySize
While we publish rim weight percentages for each SteadySize discus in the specification table, this information is less relevant for heavy SteadySize discuses than standard competition discuses - for an apparent reason: We achieve high SteadySize weights by using wide rims inside the discuses. This results in a high rim weight percentage without the regular spin effect that comes with it.
